God’s Son, Jesus Christ, lived the only perfect life, went to the cross as the sacrifice for our sin and rose from the dead. Jesus calls us by name & fills us with the presence and power of His Spirit. We love the reading and preaching of God’s word because it reveals Jesus. He is our comfort in life and death. He is everything to our church. We love Jesus.

Via is a unique church that draws people from all walks of life. We are a rare blend of ‘have’ and ‘have-nots’, older and younger, racially diverse, single and married, urban and country. We draw people with little religious background and others with a lifelong of faith history. We believe heaven will be diverse, and we want our church to represent the kingdom of God and the people of our city.

We are a church that worships in spirit and in truth and sings like we have truly been saved. Via Worship is excellent, powerful, and contagious. Via Worship leads people to experience the presence of God through pure, heartfelt & artistic worship. Via Worship leads the way in engaging people through producing a culturally relevant sound with creativity that draws people to be in awe of our Creator.

We pray for, discover, build up, train, equip, and multiply leaders who own their ministry and selflessly lead for the sake of the greater body. We create new opportunities to lead within our community and send leaders out in other missional churches and ministry organizations.

We are people who align our gifts, passions, experiences and opportunities with our calling in life to effectively share the good news of Jesus in every career path. We have been created, gifted, and placed specifically by God to be an influence in our surroundings. We see positive opportunities in every season. We are striving to be and to fulfill our God-given potential.

We are courageous and compassionate people who think about the outsider. We are a community who encourages adoption, foster care, and supporting the cause of making our city a place where nobody is without a family, both literally and spiritually.

All that we have, has been graciously given to us by God. This is ultimately for his purposes and our joy. We believe and trust that God is faithful and meets all our needs. We believe that we cannot out-give our generous God.

We care about the kingdom coming, increasing from generation to generation. We are a church that thinks forward. We want to see more churches planted and missionaries raised up. We want to network with other organizations to pass the baton and expand Christian influence beyond our walls and past our time.

Via Church is a place of healing for the wounded, a safe haven for the fearful, and a home for the outcast. It offers another chance for the prodigal, new purpose for the wanderer, and a solid anchor for the drifter. It is a new beginning for the sinner—a place where the lost are found and all are made new in Jesus.
